Lemons.....Summer....

I love lemons and recently a friend of mine gave me a huge bag of them, so i decided i was going to clean them all up and maybe just make some lemonade and of course use them in my tea..

Chalkboard Paint! I love....

Hello Friends,
I love going to garage sales, so lately i picked up some frames, empty frames and thought what can i do with them? 
So i decided to go to my local Lowe's have some wood cut to fit and make a chalkboard.  Now i am in LOVE with chalkboard paint and want to use it on everything. lol

And so i started (don't mind my ugly table, i need to redo that too)

here is the finished, it was easy & quick, i only used 2 coats and that was plenty.

A Journal or Notes....

So I was at my local bookstore and seen these plain journals a 3 pack for like $12.00.

love the plain brown but wanted to decorate it. lol

inside the pages are plain, kinda wish they had lines.

so here is the front cover, i used pages from old books, orangeish roses & other embellishments

Real easy to make and a great gift for someone<3

Summer Wreath...

hello,
i found this wreath at Michael's and i love it, so i bought it and thought what could i add to it.

My kids tease me all the time saying i love sticks. lol  I wanted to add something to it that says Summer so i added some Hydrangeas, my favorite flower and of course they have green in them which is my favorite color.

Now i like the way it came out but i feel like it is still missing something????
help!  Any ideas???
Right now it is on my front door but i feel it is too plain.

My Passion....

Hello,
Well i have been a bit busy and life has been crazy, i have not posted since January!  I can sit here all day long and read every one's blogs, there are so many talented women out there its unbelievable.  It is my passion to be able to blog everyday but i am a working single mother and when i get home i am so tired.
I want so bad to spend more time blogging because it is what i love to do, i love to decorate, create i love it all and i so wish i could just stay home and fulfill my passion, maybe someday. :)
Well i am going to try and get better at it and try and get some followers, hello i have 1, lol.  My last blog i had 16, but i decided to re-do my blog and now i haven't even had time for it.
Do you all struggle with this like i do????  This year i have 2 weddings and a grand baby on the way and i am so EXCITED!  So needless to say i will be even busier.
I created an inspiration board for my daughter and i think it came out really cute, i will have pictures of it hopefully latter today.
